NFTZ: Invest in the Digital Economy with NFTs, Blockchain and the NFT Marketplace
NFTs (Non-fungible tokens) are already challenging paradigms of ownership, property and value. In their current form they enable true ownership of digital goods, releasing creativity into the virtual world as a cooperative venture between parties and sparking a new creator economy.
NFTZ seeks to track, before fees and expenses, the composition of the BITA NFT and Blockchain Select Index. The Index is comprised of equity securities of global publicly listed companies with relevant thematic exposure to the NFT (Non Fungible Tokens), blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystems. Stocks in the fund may derive revenue from Crypto Asset Management & Trading; Crypto Banking, Payments and Services; Crypto Mining Hardware; or Blockchain Technology. Alternatively, they could be companies who disclose that they offer services for the issuance, creation, and commercialization of NFTs. An NFT is a digital asset that exists on the blockchain, a form of distributed ledger.

NFTZ targets companies involved in NFTs, blockchain, and cryptocurrency ecosystems and communities. Together, these comprise aspects of an NFT marketplace set to take the world by storm.
NFTs are just the beginning
Blockchain supports trustless peer to peer exchanges with no third-party involvement. This has the potential to change how we live, do business, pursue leisure and even govern.
NFT stands for non-fungible token. Each NFT is the digital representation of a specific, unique item like a picture, song, or even the first Tweet. Powered by blockchain technology, NFTs prove transparent and immutable ownership which has major implications across all sectors. NFTs use smart contracts, which are self executing contracts based on predetermined conditions, to efficiently transfer value upon transactions. For example, NFT artists automatically receive a percentage of sales every time their art is bought and sold.
NFTZ launched on November 23rd, 2021
More than $37 billion has been spent at NFT marketplaces as of June 2022, a figure that nearly exceeds the total amount in all of 2021.1 But while NFTs enable true digital ownership, releasing creativity into the virtual world as a cooperative venture between artist and fan; the NFT explosion is merely the current expression of a disruptive potential that could transform how we interact, live, do business and even govern.
Blockchain supports trustless peer to peer transactions, paving the way for a new economic structure and construction of property rights. Its decentralized architecture lies behind cryptocurrencies, DeFi (an umbrella term for financial services on public blockchains) and a whole new way of thinking about art, culture, business and social cooperation.
NFT stocks, blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystems comprise the NFT marketplace. Defiance brings the retail and institutional investor access to a sector positioned to reconstruct our understanding and practice of ownership, property and value.
